We were wondering what happened to Entersphere, the video game studio founded by Pikmin writer Motoi Okamoto. Earlier this year, Marvelous AQL acquired Entersphere. Marvelous AQL is known for games like Muramasa Rebirth, Rune Factory, and Harvest Moon.

Picotto Knights has costume parts for Goblins and the King of Hell called Maoh in the Japanese version of Army Corps of Hell in the game. Players can get parts for these characters by completing crossover missions.

Neptunia V (which actually takes place in the past) adds in a more recent video game icon – the Devil King from Square Enix’s Vita launch game Army Corps of Hell. He’s called Devil King sama in Netpunia V.

The lead character from Army Corps of Hell will make a cameo in another Square Enix game – Monster X Dragon, a Japan-only PC title blends card battling games with strategy RPGs.

Square Enix is cutting 2,000 yen ($25) off their PlayStation Vita titles between May 1 and May 7.

“I had the initial concept of a battle game with an ‘army corps’ that moves in a fluid formation. I thought it would be fun to make the corps fight with a gigantic monster,” said producer Takamasa Shiba.

“It’s cold, there’s no fire, no death. In fact, an old lady hugged me earlier,” the King of Hell complains to the mayor of Hell.

“It was fun and exciting to make the game on what was console with the right analog stick shrunken down to handheld size.”

Square Enix are promoting Army Corps of Hell with live-action promos of the King of Hell ending up in Michigan.

When he isn’t tossing goblins and fighting demons to reclaim his throne, the King of Hell focuses on his outfit. Players can customize the unholy lord in Army Corps of Hell by equipping headgear and different mantles.

Square released a new trailer to show how chaotic Army Corps of Hell looks with more players.

Just like in Japan, Square Enix’s hellish take on Pikmin will be a PlayStation Vita launch title in North America. Square Enix has Army Corps of Hell slated for February 22 here.

Will the real King of Hell please stand up? Army Corps of Hell has a four player mode where each person controls their own demon king and up to 50 goblins at once.

Square Enix have released play movies of the upcoming Vita game, showing three of the goblin classes that will do your bidding.
