A new Batman: Arkham game is slated for release this year, Warner Bros. confirmed in a recent investor call, as part of the company’s earnings report.
Wii U GamePad features and the new B.A.T. combo feature demonstrated.
Total physical sales across the games industry dropped to 20% year-over-year in July, the NPD Group reports.
“The last talk I had with Warner Interactive about future games was while I was doing promotion for Arkham City last September,” Dini shares.
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City writer, Paul Dini, says he isn’t working on any more Batman: Arkham games—at least, not at the moment.
June was a rather interesting month for sales in general.
The game will allegedly be based on DC’s Silver Age of comics, according to a Variety report.
Warner Bros. sent out new images from the Harley Quinn’s Revenge episode, and also confirmed that it will hit PC in early June.
A behind-the-scenes feature shows the two voice actors recording a scene for Batman: Arkham City.
