At some point in the game, Bayonetta breaks into an elaborate dance sequence and PlatinumGames posted a look at the prototype.
Bayonetta, if you’re content with the PS3 version, is easy to import so Sega made their own “stop importing it edition”.
The back of Bayonetta’s box says “infinite climax action” and it’s an accurate description. Everything in Bayonetta explodes with flair and builds up from one slick action sequence to the next.
And to think all of this could have been avoided had Platinum Games simply not chosen to include that odd notice at the end of the Bayonetta demo.
If you can wait until January 5 you can get Bayonetta and an exclusive pre-order item. Bayonetta will go on sale in Europe a few days later on January 8.
The Japanese PlayStation 3 version is region free and entirely in English.
Usually, third party publishers like Sega advertise multiplatform games with one ad and list of all the consoles it’s on at the end. But, Bayonetta is such a big deal in Japan it gets two ads.
In case you didn’t know PlatinumGames isn’t fully responsible for the PlayStation 3 version of Bayonetta.
As promised, a Bayonetta demo is available on PSN and, if you have a Japanese XBLA gold account, Xbox Live too.
Itching to try Bayonetta? Get your Japan region accounts ready! Sega will release a demo on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on October 8.
