“We have a big surprise to share with you,” Capcom say about their E3 booth.
Capcom has a bunch of Mega Man goodies for the series 25th anniversary like a Mega Man ultrabook PC and a collectable figure with Mega Man and X together. Just announced for Japan is this Rush tissue holder?!
“Bringing development in-house will not increase development costs,” Capcom said to those in attendance at a financials Q&A session.
Capcom’s major strategies going forward involve two main initiatives—to manage their console games business more efficiently and to strengthen their online games business.
Monster Hunter 4 is a major release for Capcom this year, as the company seeks to improve earnings. Capcom also provide projections for Resident Evil: Revelations and Lost Planet 3.
In a financial report, Capcom say that they will heavily promote both Monster Hunter 4 and Lost Planet 3 in the domestic and overseas markets respectively.
“Most of the cancelations were for releases planned in the fiscal year ending March 2015,” Capcom have shared in a financial results Q&A.
Capcom have attempted to figure out just what has led to their games not meeting their sales targets, and here’s what they’re doing about it.
Fifteen Capcom heroines from a diverse selection of games such as Nina from Breath of Fire, Ada from Resident Evil, and Tron Bonne from Mega Man Legends are joining the game.
A new collectable figure will be released this summer at San Diego Comic-Con in limited numbers. Another figure has Mega Man and Mega Man X together to represent X’s upcoming anniversary, which will be an exclusive on the Capcom store.
