Atlus USA are teasing something Catherine-related over Twitter.
Vincent, the listless hero in Catherine, has a personal choice to make. Should he stay with his possibly pregnant girlfriend Katherine who he’s been with for five years or leave her for Catherine, the alluring woman he had an affair with?
That oversized box actually has another box inside. The contents of Catherine’s Love is Over deluxe edition are packed inside a Stray Sheep pizza box.
The Stray Sheep scenes usually begin with Vincent sitting in a booth with is bar buddies.
“Number one – don’t panic. If you start pushing/pulling blocks at random, it’s going to end badly,” said Scott Williams, QA Lead at Atlus USA.
A package from Atlus with Catherine just arrived. Here’s a look at what you’ll get in two weeks if you get the regular edition of the game.
The 160 page book is split into five chapters: Visual, Theater, Cast, Nightmare, and Concept.
Vincent, the lead character in Catherine, isn’t the only person trapped in a nightmarish world where babies with chainsaw arms chase inhabitants up a block tower. The world, well the Nightmare World, is populated by sheep.
And here’s something you won’t see. After completing the demo level Vincent gets another text message from Katherine, his girlfriend, asking if he’s out drinking.
While you may have played Catherine before, next week you’ll be able to try Atlus’ romantic nightmare in English.
In Catherine, Vincent receives text messages, and players get to respond to them. One of the early text messages is from Katherine, Vincent’s long term girlfriend. He receives this while drinking alone at the Stray Sheep.
Troy Baker (Vincent) and Travis Willingham (Jonny) discuss their experience working on Catherine.
Vincent looks like he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place in this new Catherine trailer.
This might come off as a surprise, but Korea tends to get Atlus titles released on PlayStation platforms before North America.
