Nicalis are bringing an updated version of the game to the Nintendo eShop, specifically for the 3DS, next month.
Nicalis say that Cave Story+ supports PC and MAC, and has seven new modes. It also has a remastered soundtrack and graphics.
“I learned a lot after releasing Cave Story for DSiWare and WiiWare,” Daisuke “Pixel” Amaya replied with a humble tone. “There were a lot of positive comments, but there were other people who didn’t like the graphic style.”
Nicalis’ portable version of Cave Story is complete and now available on the DSiWare store in North America for 1,000 DSiWare points ($10).
