Rejoice shmup fans, Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5 will be a region free Xbox 360 game!
Sadly, Deathsmiles was region locked, but there is a glimmer of hope for Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5. Cave hasn’t decided if their next shooter will be region free or not.
Yes, another Cave shmup is coming to the Xbox 360. Espgaluda II Black Label, a sequel to Cave’s bullet-slowing-gold-grabbing shooter, is slated for spring 2010.
Cave will release two versions of Mushihime-sama Futari Ver. 1.5 on November 26. A standalone copy of the game and a limited edition bundled with a two disc soundtrack.

At a later date Cave will sell Deathsmiles: Mega Black Label as optional downloadable content over Xbox Live Arcade. I appreciate how [...]

Don’t like the new graphics? Fine. You can play Deathsmiles without them in regular mode. Or play Deathsmiles: Mega Black Label, the latest version [...]
