A representative explained the reason why Galapagos RPG exists is because more and more Japanese developers tend to make games for the West by changing their style and Compile Heart doesn’t want to move in that direction.

Compile Heart, one of Idea Factory’s brands, has a new label called Galapagos RPG. Their mission is to develop RPGs specifically for Japanese customers. So, I guess this is a JRPG label that makes JRPGs only for Japan?

After releasing Knights in the Nightmare and Gungnir, Sting has been working with Idea Factory. The two companies formed Super Sting, which created Generation of Chaos: Pandora’s Reflection.

In Japan, Mugen Souls has a longer title, Overwhelming Game Mugen Souls. Famitsu spoke to Kenta Sugano who said a new title in the “Overwhelming” series is under development.

The Hyperdimension Neptunia appears to be working on something with Keiji Inafune once again.
