We’re getting the expanded Xbox 360 version, Record of Agarest War: Reappearance, too.
Some of you have may have seen the umm… realistic adaptation of Record of Agarest War that Ghostlight was considering for Europe. After internet outcry Ghostlight went with the original box art.
“This is one of those titles where morbid curiosity really hits you once see some screenshots. Instead of being nothing but cheesecake, Record of Agarest War turns out to have some length and girth to it. Color us surprised.”
Even after knowing about it for months, it’s still hard to believe Record of Agarest War is being localized. We’ll get to play the PS3 “soul breeding” strategy RPG on November 9 via a PlayStation Network download.
A few months after we revealed Record of Agarest War was coming out in Europe and that Ghostlight was publishing it comes news that Aksys is bringing Compile Heart’s strategy RPG stateside in an unorthodox way.
Agarest: Generations of War is getting premium pack treatment in Europe. Ghostlight, the same company that published Digital Devil Saga in the UK, plans to release a standard retail version and a collector’s edition.
Compile Heart, the company behind Cross Edge, has the license to Animax’s Hell Girl anime. Hell Girl is a series about revenge. Anyone harboring animosity can log on to a website and condemn soul to hell.
If you’ve been dying to play Agarest Senki in English your wait is almost over. Just like we discovered earlier, Compile Heart’s soul breeding PS3 strategy RPG is coming out in Europe.
Cross Edge just came out in North America, but the Gust meets Disgaea meets Darkstalkers RPG has been out for over a year in Japan. Compile Heart had plenty of time to create Cross Edge Dash, an Xbox 360 port of the PlayStation 3 game.
