Demon Gaze, a Vita dungeon RPG from Experience, appears to be a success for the developer and publisher Kadokawa Games. They’re reprinting Students of the Round: The Eternal Legend for PSP and advertising it as a story that takes place several hundred years before Demon Gaze.

Kadokawa Games has been more active in the West with Lollipop Chainsaw and the upcoming action game Killer is Dead. Both titles are from Grasshopper Manufacture which has a fanbase in North America and Europe.

Up until March 27th, players will be able to recruit some of the game’s shopkeepers to join their party. Fran, the innkeeper and NPCs such Pine and Promes can leave town to hunt half-mecha demons.

Experience boasts a pedigree of pretty dungeon crawlers and Demon Gaze has more of anime flair than Students of the Round even though both games are set in the same universe.
