Aside from the Digimon online PC games Namco Bandai hasn’t done much with the series in the West. Out of the blue, Bandai filed a trademark for Digital Monsters specifically for use with video game software.

As part of Digimon’s 15th anniversary celebration, Namco Bandai will announce a new project in next week’s V Jump magazine.

The Digivice is the first iteration of Digimon, which was essentially a Tamagotchi that can fight. Namco Bandai’s Digivice digital version plays just like the 90s toy, but now its on your PSP.

Namco Bandai sent out more screenshots of Digimon Adventure, a RPG that covers the first Digimon anime series made by Prope.

Each Digimon has a unique Skill Panel and you can set DigiChips into the panels to increase stats and learn attacks.

Namco Bandai have released two new gameplay videos for Digimon Adventure, the upcoming Digimon RPG for PSP.

Additionally, Digimon Adventure will only take evolutions as far as the shows take it.

New information on Digimon Adventure is out via V Jump magazine and a new trailer for the game.

Namco Bandai have also announced a release date for the game via V Jump magazine.

Digimon Adventure will cover all of the anime as well as the movie “Our War Game”. In addition, it will also include original content, referred to as “Sub-episode quests”.

Fragile Dreams developer Tri-Crescendo made Digmon World Re:Digitize, but they aren’t working on Digimon Adventure. The upcoming RPG that covers the original Digimon anime series is being made by Prope.
