Dragon Quest X has 300,000 subscribers to date, the Nihon Securities Journal reports.
The Ranger uses bows, boomerangs, and axes. (Boomerangs and bows are new to Dragon Quest X.) Their “survival” skill gives them some recovery spells that restore HP and negate negative statuses.
Square Enix is updating Dragon Quest X will more content geared towards high level players. First, they are bumping the level cap up from 50 to 55. Dragon Quest X will also get two new jobs – Paladin and Ranger.
Square Enix had a stage presentation where producer Yosuke Saito showed Dragon Quest X running on Wii U. While Dragon Quest X is an online game, the part Square Enix showed during Tokyo Game Show was not connected to the Nintendo Network.
