Lost Planet series producer Kenji Ohguro said they wanted to make a “party” game like shooter after Lost Planet 2. That’s how E.X. Troopers started and compared to Lost Planet 3′s struggle of a family man E.X. Troopers has a fun vibe.
Nintendo showed off a new trailer for the Nintendo 3DS version of E.X. Troopers at their Nintendo Direct presentation.

Capcom announced a multiplayer mode for E.X. Troopers, an anime style Lost Planet spinoff. Survival mode splits players up into three person teams, either red or blue.
Capcom showed a new video of E.X. Troopers and it has a team based feel like Monster Hunter, but instead of chasing dinosaurs you’re shooting Akrid.
E.X. Troopers has VR Missions on both the 3DS and PlayStation 3. On the PS3, these can be played online.
Capcom hired Satelight, the studio behind the Persona 2: Innocent Sin PSP opening movie and Macross Frontier the Movie, to make a promotional E.X. Troopers mini-anime.
E.X. Troopers will come out for PlayStation 3 and Nintendo 3DS on November 22. The PS3 version costs 6,990 yen ($90) and the 3DS release is 5,990 yen ($76).
Capcom recently showed off a lengthy bit of footage from the PS3 version of E.X. Troopers.
At their Capcom Game Jam event last month, Capcom conducted stage presentations for their various upcoming games, including one for E.X. Troopers.
New in-game footage of E.X. Troopers gives a closer, more slow-paced look at how the run-and-gun stuff works.
E.X. Troopers is being directed by Yasuhiro Anpo, who was also the director of Resident Evil 5.
Capcom released a new trailer for the game at their ongoing Game Jam event.
