Microsoft have shared their E3 trailer for Killer Instinct, the revival of the classic RARE fighting game on Xbox One.
There were a ton of playable characters in the E3 demo alone including Gimli, Legolas, Frodo, Sam, and Merry.
New Little King’s Story may look and feel different, but the E3 2012 demo assured me that Corobo and Alpoko are as charming as ever.
The first new feature I tried was “Love Maze,” which tasked the player with navigating two monkeys through two parallel mazes simultaneously.
Sound Shapes is elegant in its simplicity, hearkening back to Super Mario Bros. with its two button control scheme: X jumps and Square (or R) runs.
Guacamelee makes no attempt to mask its love for Super Metroid.
Monroe’s mother was an artist who never finished her artwork, always intending to come back to it later. Sadly, her death made that goal impossible.
Naturally, the first thing I did upon getting my hands on the game’s E3 demo was to throw myself off of the starting building, and shoot out a web line at the last moment.
In the quest for Nintendo Land pins, I visited all five Nintendo Land demo stations at E3 to see how each minigame was played.
Game & Wario feels more like a Wario-skinned Wii Play successor for the Wii U.
The first thing I did was play with adjectives. “Gentlemanly” gave my tentacled monstrosity a top hat and monocle.
She was different from the other characters due to the fact that Asterius, her giant metallic bull of a persona, was constantly onscreen.
Instead of two punches and two kicks, the button layout was a bit more like Blazblue with light, medium, and heavy attacks alongside a character-specific attack button.
Despite the fact that I played through nearly an entire level before dying, I’m still not exactly sure how the game works.
The demo I played of Borderlands 2 was the first to feature its cybernetic ninja Zero. Naturally, I had to try him out and see how melee combat had changed from the first game.
