The Wii U Virtual Console in North America will launch with eight games, Nintendo have announced.

F-Zero GX’s arcade counterpart was on the game’s disc all along, and is accessible using Action Replay Codes.

“I don’t see with current hardware how you could create a similar surprise,” Miyamoto says on the subject of a new F-Zero game.
