Natsume are localizing Kemco’s retro RPG, Mystic Chronicles, for the PSP, and have shared profiles for the game’s main characters.

In addition to Carnage Heart EXA, Natsume also picked up Mystic Chronicles from Kemco. Mystic Chronicles is a throwback to Super Nintendo RPGs with pixilated heroes and turn based battles.

OK, if Final Fantasy Dimensions sounds too pricey, but you have a Super Nintendo JRPG itch maybe Fantasy Chronicle can sate your appetite.

Kemco, makers of 16-bit Bugs Bunny games and the Sword of Hope, series are still making RPGs today. It’s just most of their games are for Android and iOS like Eve of the Genesis and Fantasy Chronicle.

Kemco changed their focus to the mobile market where they’re cranking out 16-bit role playing games like Fantasy Chronicle.
