After the news at Anime Expo, we grabbed Mike Engler, editor, to tell us more about Fate/Extra and what the North American version will be like.
Shortly after Fate/Extra and Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom were announced Anime Expo, I met with Aksys to find out more about their upcoming PSP games.
Surprise! Fate/Extra the Type Moon RPG from Luminous Arc developer Imageepoch is coming to North America thanks to Aksys.
Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns was MMV’s best-selling game in Japan last year, followed by Fate/Extra on the PSP.
Imageepoch’s and Type-Moon’s alternate re-telling of Fate/stay Night now has a nice, thick visual fanbook.
The financial report also makes mention of an “epic RPG” for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 which Marvelous canceled.
Fate/Extra relies on an interesting battle system that requires you to predict your opponent’s moves, but the game isn’t for everyone.
Marvelous’ interactive entertainment division made a huge leap from losses to profits.
It’s been a while since Fate/Extra was released, but Marvelous and Famitsu are still promoting the game.
While Fate/Extra couldn’t crash Nintendo’s Wii Party, it still debuted very respectably for a Marvelous game.

Fate/extra, an alternate retelling of the Fate/Stay story, takes place in Homurabara Gakuen. In the PSP game, you, either a male or female protagonist, are a student there.
