Square Enix are putting a bunch of their Final Fantasy games on sale on the PlayStation Network in North America.
Square Enix plan to update the game in the future with higher-res sprites.
Until tomorrow (February 8th), certain PSP and PSOne Final Fantasy games on the European PlayStation Store have been discounted by 50%.
“It is not overstating things to say that being able to play FFT on iOS really was made possible by our customers,” says producer, Takehiro Ando.
Alongside the game’s release, Square Enix released a trailer for Final Fantasy Tactics on iPhone.

Square Enix answer a few questions about Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions on the iPhone and iPad, along with a delay announcement.
The iPhone version of the game will be released between mid June and late July. The high-res iPad version will follow sometime after that.
Square Enix is also dropping Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions onto PlayStation Network like a Choco Meteor. A digital re-release is slated for March 9 in Japan.
Square Enix redesigned the tactics game’s interface to support the iPhone’s touchscreen.
