Square Enix designer addresses Cloud’s return and the Final Fantasy VII remake.

Sony proudly announced the PlayStation Network re-release of Final Fantasy VII was downloaded over 100,000 times in North America alone.

In addition to Mobile Light Force, Final Fantasy VII was also rated by the ESRB as a PlayStation 3 and PSP game. That makes it a candidate as a downloadable PlayStation Classic on the PlayStation Store.

Tons of Square Enix games are part of Japan’s PlayStation Archives collection, but none of them have the words “Final Fantasy”.
