Former Flight Plan office is now a pile of rubble.
Summon Night community site goes dark at the end of this month.
It’s a sad day for Flight Plan, the developers of the Summon Night series and Eternal Poison. The Gifu based company shut down.
Before Summon Night Flight Plan was busy with another strategy RPG series called Black/Matrix. In this world demons, angels, and humans are caught up in a three way war.
Flight Plan’s next project and possibly the last PlayStation 2 RPG for Japan is a 3D Summon Night game. Deviating from the core Summon Night series, Summon Night Granthese is an action RPG.
Will a Summon Night game be the final PlayStation 2 RPG?
Eternal Poison is Flight-Plan’s latest addition to the quickly dwindling PS2 library. It’s a Gothic-styled tactical role playing game with a dark story that must be played a couple times through to understand in its entirety. The game is split into three perspectives: Thage’s story, Olifen’s story, and Ashley’s story. The same events happen in [...]
The creators of Summon Night series aren’t giving up on the PlayStation 2. On February 19, 2009 Flight Plan will self publish Sacred Blaze, an internally developed strategy RPG with a unique system of characters asking God for abilities. In a forth wall breaking twist the player is God in Sacred Blaze which means you [...]
Unlike the teaser trailer this clip of Eternal Poison has some of the English voice acting. Not much gameplay explanation, though. As you’re probably aware of Eternal Poision is a strategy RPG where you move characters on a grid. The way you capture monsters is what makes Eternal Poison unique. Monsters have a set HP [...]
Play-Asia didn’t lead us astray with their Poison Pink leak. Atlus officially announced Poison Pink is their next PlayStation 2 game and their plan is to release Eternal Poison on November 11 for $39.99. Each game is a two disc package with a CD of selected music. The official US site is open now too [...]
Many intuitive Siliconera readers know this already, but if you haven’t heard Atlus picked up Poison Pink. We’ll get better acquainted with it under its US name, Eternal Poison. Every US copy comes with a bonus soundtrack CD for what will probably be sold for $39.99 since Play-Asia is charging $44.99 for it. Thanks to [...]
Summon Night: Twin Age is joining Atlus’ bulky spring release schedule with a release scheduled for May 20. Unlike the main entries in the Summon Night series, Twin Age is an action RPG and quite different from the Summon Night Swordcraft Story games Atlus released two years ago. No more 2D combat, everything in Summon [...]
Even though Banpresto will be officially absorbed into the Namco Bandai conglomerate they will be publishing Flight Plan’s remake of Summon Night on April 24. The Nintendo DS remake adds obligatory stylus control, but unfortunately no Wi-Fi battles. Perhaps, Japan won’t care because Summon Night DS is faithful port of a PsOne game that never [...]
Banpresto and Flight Plan, the studio behind Summon Night, are teaming up to release their second PlayStation 2 strategy RPG. However, Poison Pink is quite different from Dragon Shadow Spell; it ditches fantasy for gothic and full motion videos of the main character that looks like an eerie doll. Hollow FMV aside, Poison Pink has [...]
