One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP has both episodes of the Wii game plus a made-for-3DS Marineford mode.
One Piece: Gigant Battle is being localized, but it appears only Europe is going to get the Ganbarion’s title.
After working on a bunch of One Piece games for Wii, Ganbarion is giving the Nintendo DS another shot.
Namco Bandai lifted the curtain off Project Jet and revealed One Piece: Gigant Battle.
When One Piece: Unlimited Cruise was announced it looked like the episodes were going to be back to back. But, Ganbarion needs time to make the second game so One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 2 won’t be in stores until February 26. While you’re waiting finish up One Piece: Unlimited Cruise Episode 1. Your data [...]
The first of two One Piece games for the Wii is scheduled to come out on September 11 in Japan. Brook, the skeletal musician in the Straw Hat Pirates, is a new playable character. He attacks with pirouettes and a purple cane. The bug catching net, pickaxe, and fishing rod from One Piece: Unlimited Adventure [...]
Ahh, another anime game. Seems to be my forte, no? Reviewing anime games can be a harsh job. Anime games oftentimes fall victim to what I call the "anime game curse". That is, when a game ends up being nothing more than an excuse to use an anime's license to sell copies to uninformed fans [...]
It’s hard to ignore all of the tips (thanks everyone!) about IGN’s podcast where they mention a fighting game coming to the Wii that is “gonna be some kind of crazy ass adventure game”. Wide speculation is that it is “Soul Calibur Adventures”. While that is tantalizing there is a more realistic possibility. Ganbarion has [...]
Last month Namco Bandai released One Piece: Unlimited Adventure in Japan and here is the opening video. Looks pretty good right? There is another video of gameplay footage with Luffy’s moves past the break. When you see the video notice the inventory system on the right hand side, doesn’t it remind you of the [...]
I’ve seen copies of Jump Superstars at Fry’s and a Best Buy with warnings that the game is an import title, but now there might be a chance that Jump Superstars is going to be distributed in North America on a larger scale. D-Fuse, one of our readers, sent us an e-mail with a [...]
Last year Nintendo and Ganbarion, who made some of the One Piece fighting games, teamed up to make Jump Super Stars. The manga mash up fighter came out for the Nintendo DS and it filled the void of fighting games on the handheld. This was the first time a game brought together so many Shonen [...]
Over the weekend I got Jump Ultimate Stars and I’ve been moving through the DS anime fighter. You’re going to hear a lot more about the game later today, but I wanted to show you how the koma system works. Instead of having the annoying system where you dragged blank koma pieces and character faces [...]
Ganbarion and Nintendo’s manga mash up Jump Ultimate Stars is adding in a couple of new series to the already huge cast. From the eighties is Space Adventure Cobra, which had a horrible motion based Sega CD game. Another new additions include the horse racing series Midori no Makibao, Gintoki and Jungle no Ouja Taa-chan. [...]
Nintendo and Ganbarion’s manga mash up fighter, Jump Ultimate Super Stars comes out on November 23. There are over 300 characters from a variety of popular series including Naruto, Bleach, Kenshin, Dr. Slump, Shaman King, Dragon Ball Z, One Piece, Death Note and Hunter X Hunter. New series to the Jump Super Stars world include [...]
