At best, sales of Gladiator Begins were mediocre. So, how is Dengeki going to push dozens and dozens of strategy guides?

Acquire, the developer of Patchwork Heroes, Badman, and Gladiator Begins, promoted the latter game in a bizarre way. Instead of sending screenshots to press, Acquire sent… female gladiators.

At a launch event, Acquire handed out collectible cover art heavy on slave Leia bikinis and more underboob than Tokyo Game Show.

The Colosseum game series, better known as the Gladiator series in Japan, is entering the PSP arena with Gladiator Begins.

Class of Heroes publisher Acquire uh… acquired the rights to the small series of Gladiator games and are working on a new PSP title.
