Global A Making Another PSP Dungeon Maker

By Spencer . December 12, 2008 . 12:45pm

Dungeon Maker 2 came out in the US this week with little… well let’s be honest Joe gamer doesn’t even know it exists. PSP Fanboy remembered to remind people about it, but Global A’s title isn’t going into stores with much, if any, marketing. That’s not stopping niche publisher Global A from continuing the series […]

The ESRB just leaked My World, My Way a new game from Atlus USA. Since the game hasn’t been announced we can’t confirm what it is, but I have a pretty good guess. There is a game in Japan for the Nintendo DS called Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru (The World Revolves Around Me) where […]

Create and play your own RPG in a PSP game from Global A

By Spencer . July 23, 2008 . 2:18pm

Global A’s claim to fame has been developing games where players actively alter the world. The first one that got localized was Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground where players made the dungeons they explored. The trend continued with Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru where you swap land tiles for stat bonuses.  Chuumon Shiyouze! Oretachi no Sekai […]

Chronicling Dungeon Maker 2’s journey to North America

By Spencer . July 22, 2008 . 7:28am

Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground was a sweet, little hack and slash dungeon crawler Xseed localized for the PSP last year. The twist was players got to create their own dungeons instead of exploring random levels. I asked Xseed if they picked up the sequel Global A released in Japan last year. They didn’t, but other […]

Meet Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru’s slime

By Jenni . June 30, 2008 . 3:07pm

Despite her selfish nature, the princess star of Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru has no problem finding friends. From the cockatiel on her shoulder and the guard assigned to watch in her shadows (who is repeatedly impressed by the princess’ abilities) to a random little slime who decides to follow her, the princess is undoubtedly popular. As I mentioned before, my friend purchased the game, and he not only answered my questions about the environment altering features, but also the princess’ traveling companion.

Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru: Changing the world to meet with your approval

By Jenni . June 25, 2008 . 9:11am

A friend of mine was fortunate enough to procure a copy of Sekai wa Atashi de Mawatteru, the DS game starring a selfish princess with quite a bit of will power, and was kind enough to enlighten me as to how her will affects the environment. She has the unique ability to bend her environment, the nature of her world and enemies’ actions in battle, to her liking. This means she can not only determine what an area will be like, but also the level of enemies and battle bonuses.
