CyberConnect2 announced a new event where a phantom character named Doppel Koichi appears and chapter two is now available. The next storyline focus on Vanilla.
CyberConnect2 is known for making Naruto games and the .hack series, but the Fukuoka based studio also creates original games like Solatorobo and Asura’s Wrath.
Guilty Dragon is a social game with characters that look suspiciously like they’re from the .hack universe. The game was released on October 9, but today is apparently the grand opening. CyberConnect2 is celebrating with an item sale an in-game event.
“The pro about a smartphone app is that you can play it wherever you want. Therefore, it is a very different approach in development than I’ve had experience with.”
We’ve seen a bunch of retro RPGs from Kemco and, of course, Final Fantasy Dimensions. Square Enix’s Chaos Rings series looks pretty polished, but CyberConnect2 upped the ante with Guilty Dragon.
CyberConnect2 is developing a social game for smartphones called Guilty Dragon.
Whoever restores the Sin Dragon will gain the power to unite the world. You play as a new adventurer, one that you can customize by selecting hair styles, gender, and a face.
