The company says they are tightening the “selection standard” for their video game lineup moving forward.
AQ Interactive, specifically the team behind Blue Dragon and Vampire Rain were working on Gun Loco… since 2007.
Defined as a sprint action shooter, Gun Loco had players run, slide, and shoot each other. The game was set on a prison planet with wacky inmates and used plastic models as the base for the character models.
While Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light is the last retail game from Square Enix USA this year, the first quarter of next year is jam packed with Kingdom Hearts, Deus Ex, and Final Fantasy.
Square Enix has two trigger happy games coming to North America early next year.
