Sting and Atlus have two RPGs in development together: Gungnir and Gloria Union. Famitsu ran a debut trailer for the former today, which you can watch above.
Sting’s next game is a tactical RPG where Julio wields a war god turned into a spear. While Sting developed titles are known for their complexity, Gungnir is said to be an easy to learn strategy RPG. While Sting is known for developing games with complicated mechanics, Gungnir is designed to be user friendly for strategy RPG fans who feel they aren’t good at the genre.
While Sting made unique gameplay systems for Knights in the Nightmare and Hexyz Force, Gungnir, as Famitsu explains, is a traditional strategy RPG.
