Sorry, if you were hoping for a Dissidia style crossover fighting game. .hack//Link is an action RPG based off the manga of the same name.
CyberConnect2 is throwing a .hack reunion on the PSP. It’s called .hack//Link and it’s dated for February 2010.
We saw screenshots of .hack//Link before. Now you can see the game in motion. A tiny bit of footage shows Tokio teaming up with past characters like Haseo.
Namco Bandai still hasn’t set a date for .hack//Link and since this clip only has a smidgen of gameplay I wouldn’t expect .hack//Link to come out anytime [...]
The World R:X is going to bring together a tonne of .hack characters. Screenshots from the PSP game show .hack//Link middle schooler Tokio teaming up with short tempered .hack//G.U. protagonist Haseo for a Cross Rengeki attack. With a list of characters including Tsukasa (.hack//Sign), Subaru (.hack//Sign), Tabby (.hack//Roots), Midori (.hack//Cell), and even Kite from [...]
No surprise here unless you were expecting two CyberConnect2 games revealed in a row or something. Sometime in the future .hack//Link is coming to the PSP and the judging by the silhouettes we’re going to see a lot of returning characters from the .hack series. .hack//Link is going to be like .hack//Series Reunion.
I can [...]
After two sagas of PlayStation 2 games Namco Bandai is taking the .hack series to the PSP with .hack//Link. By the title and character art alone this looks like it’s based on the manga of the same name. One thing for sure is the characters are the same. However, the Famitsu photo is too [...]
Instead of giving .hack://G.U. a full blown anime series CyberConnect2 is summing up Haseo’s story on a DVD and for the high resolution buffs a Blu-Ray disc. .hack://G.U. Trilogy isn’t an anime, the direct to disc film uses CyberConnect2’s models. In the two trailers the animation looks spectacular, but I’m not too keen on paying [...]
CyberConnect2 (or is it Namco Bandai?) is expanding the world of .hack with a new manga series called .hack://Link. The story takes place in a new version of the World, the World R: X and after the events of .hack://G.U. I'm starting to get overwhelmed with the .hack canon so I'm going to pass [...]
Days after the conclusion of .hack://G.U. arrives in North America, CyberConnect2 announces .hack://G.U. Trilogy. Surprisingly, this isn’t a bundle pack of the three .hack://G.U. games for the Playstation 2. .hack://G.U. Trilogy is coming on a Blu-ray disc, which means you can enjoy Haseo’s three games (again?) in high definition. Fans of the .hack series [...]
Honesty time here, I played, but didn’t complete .hack://G.U. vol. 2. I had to start .hack://G.U, vol. 3 Redemption using a stock version of Haseo and company, something most of you probably won’t do. This will probably make my hands on experience with the build notably different from yours. On the plus side the first [...]
