After seeing the Gamestop release schedule I asked Natsume if the list was accurate. And it is!

Natsume squeaked Harvest Moon: Magical Melody out on the Gamecube near the end of its life span. By the time Rising Star Games prepared to bring it to Europe the Wii was in full swing.

Natsume plans on releasing five Harvest Moon games this year including Harvest Moon: Sugartown which was shown in their E3 booklet with a Q4 2009 release window.

Natsume sent over a list of E3 games and it had a few surprises like Harvest Moon: My Little Shop. It’s a localized version of Harvest Moon Series: Ranch Story which Marvelous released on WiiWare a few weeks ago.

Natsume has more Harvest Moon games slated for 2009 and these aren’t puzzle spin-offs. Harvest Moon: Animal Parade and Harvest Moon: Sunshine Islands stick to what the series is known for crops and cuddly creatures.

Harvest Moon Series: Ranch Store with its paper cutout characters just came out in Japan. Marvelous plans to expand the game beyond egg painting with downloadable content.
