Japan gets El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron on April 28th.
Ignition Entertainment are consolidating their U.S. development to Austin, Texas.
That’s Enoch, the robot battling hero of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. Robots… in a game with archangels? Yes, says the ESRB in their description.
Actually, that should read “left company” because Ajay Chada, one of the co-founders of Ignition, hasn’t been working at the Glendale based publisher for months.
The first playable build of El Shaddai made its debut at Tokyo Game Show, but Ignition’s Japan studio has been working on it for awhile.
Warning: Spoilers inside. Stay away if you don’t want to read them!
We take the much-anticipated Arc Rise Fantasia for a spin.
Ignition set Arc Rise Fantasia’s release date as July 27, a week after the game ships to stores. Confusing? You bet.
Publisher to focus on creating games at “mass market new price-points”.
L’arc’s fight against the feldragons is almost here. Ignition set July 20th as the day the game ships to stores.
Ignition even went out and got the game rated by the ESRB, but ultimately dropped Samurai Shodown Sen. Why did Ignition, a company actively snapping up licensed games from Japan, change their mind?
“The voice acting, to put it lightly, has gotten less than favorable reactions,” I said to Shane Bettenhausen, New Business Development Director at Ignition, during an E3 meeting.
Sakura Note struck out, but Fate/Extra has a chance to come out overseas. Ignition is looking at the PSP game.
During E3, Shane Bettenhausen briefed us on the game and explained why Lucifel, an angel living in the distant past, is holding a cell phone.
