Sure, the PlayStation 4 is coming, but there are plenty of awesome games for PlayStation 3. Sony made new bundles for North America and Japan. What’s interesting is how different the packages are.

Here’s the list of free games PlayStation Plus subscribers will get in North America and Europe this month.

Sony owns the Sly Cooper and inFamous intellectual properties. Now, they own the Bellevue based Sucker Punch Productions too.

Aside from publishing Prince of Persia: The Sands of Times as a first party game in Japan, Sony has sat on the sidelines when it came to overseas releases. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan changed their stance with the World Game Project.

“It seemed like the timing was about right with Infamous 2 coming out around this time and it seemed a character that had a lots of possibilities, in terms of gameplay,” explained Seth Killian, Strategic Marketing Director of Online & Community at Capcom.

The PlayStation 2 lives on in Latin America.
