Total retail videogame sales were down 25% year-over-year in the U.S. in April, the NPD Group reports. Meanwhile, retail software sales were down 17%.

The Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us has major issues. There are no lobbies for online play and you can’t send invites to fight with friends. While you can fight online, it’s only with random players.

Injustice: Gods Among Us gets its first DLC character today. Lobo will be able for download via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network for 400 Microsoft Points or $5.

It looks like Batgirl may be another of the four DLC characters in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Lobo is going to be among the DLC characters in DC fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Players will be able to unlock content for the console game while playing Injustice for iOS and vice versa on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 using a Warner Bros. ID. This feature is not in the Wii U version.

“We wanted to switch the fight style with this game mainly because we want to differentiate it from our other games like Mortal Kombat. We didn’t want people to play Injustice and think it’s basically a reskinned Mortal Kombat.”

Other versions of Injustice: Gods Among Us have a quick moves list too, but commands are shown underneath a player’s life bar. In the PS3 and Xbox 360 version you can change which commands are shown at anytime by accessing the pause menu.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have shared a new trailer for Injustice: Gods Among Us, focusing on Green Lantern.

Injustice: Gods Among Us for iOS lets players bring a team of three fighters to the ring and you can tap on character portraits to switch from Harley Quinn to Flash.
