According to Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker started out as a PSP game, but evolved into a “next-gen game on a portable device.”

Konami built a separate website for something called Metal Gear Solid: “Piece” Walker with a picture of Snake hiding in a cardboard box saying “Piece Walker coming soon…”

After getting release dates for Japan and Europe, we finally have a street date for North America. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be available here on May 25, 2010.
