G.rev, makers of Straina and Under Defeat, created a shooter for Nintendo 3DS with the creator of Ikaruga called Kokuga.

Ikaruga designer Hiroshi Iuchi’s next game is a Nintendo 3DS shoot-em-up named Kokuga.

This morning, G.Rev announced a release date for their top-down Nintendo 3DS shooter, Kokuga.

G.rev released a trailer for their 3DS shoot-em-up today.

What makes Kokuga unique is the game’s power up card system. Touch a card to activate rapid fire or restore shields by using a support card.

G.rev, the studio behind Wartech: Senko no Ronde Duo (pictured) and Strania, is working on their first Nintendo 3DS game.
