Raiden has to fight cyborgs only using his firsts in VR Mission #19. This stage has a fixed camera so it plays like a platformer. Another mission is an entire stage where you sneak around controlling a Dwarf Gekko.

Metal Gear isn’t known for being a stylish action game, but that didn’t stop a lot of people from picking up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance in Japan.

This is no Devil May Cry or Bayonetta, but something entirely new instead.

Takashi Wagatsuma, the programmer at PlatinumGames who programmed Metal Gear Rising’s Blade Mode feature, gives a little insight into the challenges involved.
