The Metal Gear Solid HD Edition bundle includes the game, a booklet titled “The Art of Metal Gear Solid: The Original Trilogy”, a soundtrack CD with vocal songs, extra large Metal Gear Solid headphones, and mugs for Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3.

Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection includes the MSX Metal Gear games from Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence, but the Snake vs. Monkey mini-game got cut out.

Get the PlayStation 3 version in Japan and you get a code to download Metal Gear Solid, the PsOne version, as a bonus. Since Metal Gear Solid is not available for Xbox Live Arcade, Xbox 360 owners get a mere avatar item instead.

Konami have released a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, showing off a bunch of clips from all of the games and highlighting all of the updated features, such as Subsistence’s improved camera:  

The PlayStation 3 version will come with a Game Archives code for Metal Gear Solid, while Xbox 360 owners will get a different bonus.

Kojima Productions will be holding various stage shows next week to discuss their upcoming games.

Peace Walker HD will support online cooperative play over Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

Before we get to pictures of Snake and Naked Snake, it appears the version of Metal Gear Solid 2 in Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is actually Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance. One of the screenshots we have is from a VR mission.

While the package art says Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Hideo Kojima says the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection actually includes Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. That means you’ll also get the MSX versions of Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 on disc.
