Heading to Tokyo Game Show? Don’t forget your PSP! Konami is distributing a Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker demo you can keep as a digital souvenir.

A key feature in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is cooperative play. A shakycam video shows multiple “Snakes” infiltrating a base. The demonstration shows players sharing a cardboard box as a hiding spot and assaulting a base in team formation.

Peace Walker will be a stealth-action title, but Hideo Kojima says, “the game will be a little different from the Metal Gear that players have come to know.”

Konami’s PsOne classic, Metal Gear Solid, is now available as a downloadable game in North America. If you have a PlayStation 3 or PSP you can pick it up for $9.99.

The system has a pop up 3.8″ screen with the buttons underneath it, similar to a Sidekick. It’s 43% lighter than the PSP-3000, has 16GB of flash memory, bluetooth support, and no UMD drive.
