Square Enix’s remake of Dragon Quest VII on the 3DS saw the second-highest launch of any Dragon Quest remake in recent years.
Monster Monpiece has worked its way past 50,000 in sales between retail copies and download copies.
Last week, Nippon Ichi released The God and Fate Revolution Paradox in Japan, and the game sold 23,417 copies in its first week.
We’re not sure how this compares to other PlayStation Vita titles in Japan, but Monster Monpiece surpassed 5,000 downloads.
Compile Heart shipped 27,000 copies of the game in Japan and they’re selling out.
Players drag and drop cards on to a field. There are four kinds of cards in Monster Monpiece and not all of them are monsters. Neptune from the Hyperdimension Neptunia series shows up as a cameo if you reserve the game.
We had to put “monsters” in quotes because Compile Heart re-imagined mythological creatures like the Unicorn as women.
By the video alone Monster Monpiece looks like Doki Doki Majo Shinpan or something like that. It’s supposed to be a card game, but the first trailer just shows… rubbing.
Compile Heart will release their PlayStation Vita game Monster Monpiece earlier than expected. Instead of spring 2013, the card game will be available in Japan on January 24, 2013.
Compile Heart’s first PlayStation Vita game is a card batting game called Monster Monpiece. The game features fantasy monsters like slimes and the minotaur re-imagined with a moe style.
You can get Neptune from Hyperdimension Neptunia as a character in Compile Heart’s PlayStation Vita game Monster Monpiece. The catch is you have to reserve Monster Monpiece to get the rare Neptune game card.
Dengeki PlayStation has a first look at Monster Monpiece, a PlayStation Vita card game with anthropomorphic moe monster girls. The magazine shows a minotaur, alraune, will o’ wisp, and backbeard.
As we reported last night, Compile Heart is working on a PlayStation Vita game called Monster Monpiece. We’re not sure what kind of game it is and the teaser image on the official site doesn’t help much.
Compile Heart, the Idea Factory label behind the Hyperdimension Neptunia series and Mugen Souls, is working on a PlayStation Vita title. It’s not a port either!
