Earlier today, CyberConnect2 president, Hiroshi Matsuyama, was reading through Shounen Jump magazine.

The top three sellers in Japan last week were all published by Namco Bandai, starting with Macross F: The Wings of Goodbye Hybrid Pack.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact from CyberConnect2 adds villain Madara Uchiha and Naruto’s father the Fourth Hokage to the roster. Both are playable characters in the PSP game.

“I’m not sure if Impact will become a series of it’s own, but it does represent an opportunity to try something entirely new,” CyberConnect2 CEO Hirsohi Matsuyama answered.

Surrounded by hordes of ninja? Time to pull out all the stops and summon a giant toad.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact retells the Naruto Shippuden story starting from the very beginning where Naruto rescues Gaara all the way to the Five Kage Summit.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact is a Dynasty Warriors style game set in the Naruto universe. You can see the story unfold as Naruto, Sasuke or the Akatsuki.

Namco Bandai Europe will release the game on October 21st.

Sasori and Deidara are amongst the playable Akatsuki members in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact.

Other screenshots show Sasuke fighting Danzo and Itachi as a playable character.

Namco Bandai just released a demo for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Impact in Japan and you don’t even need to log on to PlayStation Network to get it.
