Auto Assault lives… in Akihabara?

By Spencer . December 2, 2007 . 6:00pm

At the end of August, NetDevil permanently shut off the Auto Assault servers. One retailer in Akihabara didn’t get the message because they are still selling Auto Assault time cards. Oh, they’re on sale for only 980 yen, which is just 980 yen too much to pay for something that is essentially worthless.

Tabula Rasa Journal: Finally Got to Specialize

By Louise . August 30, 2007 . 4:34pm

I watched the opening movie to Tabula Rasa (was it added in the newest upgrade?) and gained a better understanding of the story.  Apparently some outer-space enemy attacked Earth, so officials rounded up all the people who could fight and teleported them through wormholes into other worlds, where they must fight. In the process, the […]

As for physical swag you get a Making […]

Tabula Rasa Journal: Searching for General British. I failed.

By Louise . August 16, 2007 . 2:25pm

I tried to partake in a live event on the Tabula Rasa servers a few days ago.  The event was something like a treasure hunt, or a hide-and-seek game where everyone on the server was looking for one person: General British.  People who found General British got prizes such as a Tabula Rasa t-shirt as […]

Tabula Rasa Journal: Training Missions

By Louise . August 9, 2007 . 1:19pm

Upon starting Tabula Rasa, I was thrown into some training scenarios.  These felt more like single player missions since I was essentially fighting against AI and did not see any real life people around. The tutorial missions did a good job of getting me familiar with the controls, the menus, magic, mission logs, using the […]

By Spencer . November 30, 2006 . 2:55pm

As a cross promotion for the Killer’s first album and Linage II, NCSoft made a music video for Mr. Brightside with the Linage II engine. Instead of watching the band sing the song like in the original video, the Linage II edition has dark elf sword fighting. The video was played on MTV in Asia […]
