It’s not “true multiplayer” per se, but this week’s Famitsu reveals that in New LovePlus players will be able to connect to Konami’s servers to upload and download meta-data, which will affect several aspects of Towano City, the game’s fictional setting.

Amongst new 3DS trailers released today is one for New LovePlus.

Konami has three limited edition New LovePlus Nintendo 3DS hardware bundles. Each package includes a copy of the game and a collectable 3DS with your love of choice.

New LovePlus is still slated for a vague fall release and Konami has a plan to encourage LovePlus fans to purchase a 3DS. Maybe even more than one…

Konami brought the Nintendo 3DS game to variety show SmaStation, which tested out the game’s look around mode. See, you can tilt and move the Nintendo 3DS to view your virtual girlfriend’s world from different angles.

This week’s issue of Famitsu has an update on Project LovePlus. The only detail that leaked out is a release window. Konami has the Nintendo 3DS LovePlus game slated for fall in Japan.
