Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is a PlayStation Vita launch title, a press release from Tecmo Koei tells us today, but Siliconera readers already knew that. We posted the news last month.

Team Ninja uses PlayStation Vita’s hardware to add two features to Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus. Players can tap symbols with the rear touchpad to power up ninpo and a motion controlled bow.
Before Ninja Gaiden 3 comes out, PlayStation Vita owners can catch up on Hayabusa history with Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus.
The “plus” in Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus is for a new mission mode called The Way of the Ninja. Missions will have more varied gameplay and it sounds like one of the levels is all about projectiles.
Team Ninja’s first PlayStation Vita game is a port of Ninja Gaiden Sigma.
“Were not looking to be a technical hardcore fighter. We want a game that a lot of people can have fun with, but people who want that depth can find it.”
Ryu Hayabusa will drop on to PlayStation Vita with Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Team Ninja are bringing the game to Sony’s next handheld.
And Cave will be releasing one of their social games on the device, too.
For 315 yen you can pick up the new Speed Master mode for Ninja Gaiden Sigma. The downloadable content is essentially a time attack mode where you have to eliminate enemies as quickly as possible.
