Pre-order Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 in Japan and you get a starter set containing a hint book, prologue comic, a visual gallery, and a code to download one of Ryu’s costumes.

In addition to Ryu and Ayane, Rachel from Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Momiji from Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword will also be playable in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2.

Tecmo confirmed their not-so-secret announcement is Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. The publisher plans to release the game in two territories this fall: Japan and North America. Quick update: Vengeance is coming, so are Xbox Live Marketplace downloads starting on April 15th. A demo is scheduled to come to North America (and probably other regions) in May.

While we’re on the subject of release dates Ninja Gaiden 2 will be arriving in Japan on June 5, two days after the North American release.
