European Nintendo 3DS XL owners rejoice, as Nintendo of Europe are offering a game for free if you register your Nintendo 3DS XL on Club Nintendo.
A blue/black Nintendo 3DS XL with Mario Kart 7 pre-installed on the system will be available in the U.S. this December.
Two limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL colours are headed to Europe this winter.
The Pokémon Company are releasing another Pokémon-themed 3DS XL soon, this one featuring Charizard.
If you live in Europe, you’ll be able to pick one of these up later this year.
Nintendo have officially revealed the new Circle Pad Pro accessory for the Nintendo 3DS XL in Japan.
“We have launched silver and white-colored GBAs, DSes, DSis, and in our [North American] market they don’t sell very well,” says Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime.
The boutique-management game will launch alongside a new pink-and-white Nintendo 3DS XL.
Last week saw the release of New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Persona 4: Arena in Japan.
In its first two days on shelves, the 3DS XL sold 193,441 units, according to Famitsu publisher Enterbrain. The system launched alongside New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Nintendo hope to sell another 16.64 million 3DS by the end of March 2013.
“I think it’s an important element, it makes graphics more impactful, it proves a sense of immersion that 2D doesn’t have,” says Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata.
Capcom aren’t wasting any time taking advantage of the Nintendo 3DS XL’s announcement.
