Videogame hardware manufacturer, Nvidia, have announced their own portable console, tentatively named “Project Shield”.

Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry blog says that they can confirm the rumoured deal between nVidia and Nintendo for the DS2.

This report comes in just a week after Citigroup’s suggestion that Nintendo will introduce another DS revision to the Japanese market next year.
