Capcom has a sweet set of Okami merchandise coming next month.
The adorable Chibiterasu wasn’t always the lead character in Okamiden.
Okamiden feels far off being a 2011 game and all, but Capcom is localizing parts of it already.
Capcom confirmed they will publish Okamiden, the Nintendo DS sequel, in North America.
But, not any fan project. Okamiden was lead by staff working at Capcom Japan.
No, Capcom still hasn’t confirmed Okamiden for an international release, but they trademarked the title in the USA.
Capcom hasn’t said if they will publish Okamiden outside of Japan or not. Japan has a date with Chibiterasu sometime this year, but what about the rest of the world?
Yes Okamiden, I am watching you like a hawk. One false move and I’ll be on your case faster than you can say “busty babe.”
There’s a greater focus on cooperation with Chibiterasu’s human partners in Okamiden.

After a painful week of waiting, we finally have some concrete info on Okamiden, thanks to Famitsu. The game’s full title is Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyou, and the events it depicts take place a few months after the original game.
Okamiden is real, it’s from Capcom, and it’s a Nintendo DS game.
