Overdrive president and MangaGamer producer, Hiroshi Takeuchi, talks about the hurdles involved with negotiating with visual novel developers in Japan to bring their games overseas.

MangaGamer are sending all proceeds from sales of their Overdrive and Circus-developed games to relief efforts via the Japanese Red Cross until March 31st.

The game is an all-ages title that follows you, a university student from abroad, on a one week trip and home-stay in Tokyo.

KiraKira developer, Overdrive, are in the process of developing a “study abroad” bishoujo game that puts you in the role of a foreign student, exclusively for MangaGamer.
