“We are still waiting to be discovered,” Sakaguchi told Siliconera.
Mistwalker is bringing their surfing game Party Wave to Android devices. If you have an Android phone you can surf with Hiso the alien and Skip the dog on October 1.
“I think the number 1 pro of iOS games is that game creators can easily and instantly deliver their games to game players worldwide.”
Kimihiko Fujisaka who worked on the Drakengard games and The Last Story made Skip, a surfing dog, and Zack the face of Party Wave.
Want to score bonus points? You can rub an alien to earn stars, just watch out for jellyfish that can stun the surfing party.
Mistwalker submitted Party Wave to Apple so it’s up to them to review the game, which Sakaguchi says might be done in ten days.
“The objective of this game is to guide the surfers to catch a wave and avoid the obstacles,” reads Mistwalker’s summary.
“The development team and Sakaguchi-san are looking forward to making more, especially for the Wii U,” says The Last Story’s lead game designer, Takuya Matsumoto.
Mistwalker’s first iOS game Party Wave is coming along and Hironobu Sakaguchi shared artwork of one of the characters in the air.
