Atlus made a brand new opening movie for Persona 3: Portable which has mirrored images and a rock theme.

The first change you’ll notice is that the art for the environments has been redone, and is now pre-rendered. It’s hard to tell, but the character “models” in most scenes outside of Tartarus appear to be sprites.

Persona 3 Portable has a female protagonist and the original male protagonist. A more detailed Famitsu scan explains you get to choose your gender before the game starts.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 is coming to PSP as Persona 3 Portable, but there is more to this than the standard PlayStation 2 to PSP port.
