Atlus’ remastered PSP release of Persona is like watching a movie in technicolor. Same story, new presentation. Elements from Persona 3 have been retrofitted so the original title feels like a later entry.

When I wanted a fight I never had trouble finding one because Shin Megami Tensei: Persona has a high encounter rate. Since running is (mostly) futile expect to fight… a lot.

Just got a build of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and it came with brand spankin’ new firmware. The disc had a mandatory update to PSP Firmware 5.55.

Atlus is making history by releasing Shin Megami Tensei: Persona as retail and downloadable title on the same day.

During E3 I caught up with Atlus and discussed all things under the Shin Megami Tensei umbrella. We’ll start with the localization of Shin Megami Tensei: Persona which comes out in North America on September 22.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and its true to the source material localization is scheduled for release on September 22. Every launch copy comes bundled with a two disc soundtrack, the same pre-order bonus Atlus gave out in Japan.
