“We passed those issues back to 5pb and they’ve done a great job patching up the minor things we’ve found,” says 7Sixty’s Eric Lorentz.
We’re pushing the deadline back to April 13th.
7Sixty are offering to give away a copy of Phantom Breaker, a customized eightarc stick and a Chaos;Head Blu-Ray/DVD combo to a Siliconera reader.
“We wanted to stand out by having different gameplay systems to make sure it doesn’t feel like anything else out there,” says Phantom Breaker’s director.
“They like to put cigarettes in their mouth and pose with baseball bats,” director, Sakari Masaki, told Siliconera.
The game will let you create a room for up to four players, where the participants can watch each other fight.
“You use the same words as the nerds. I’m a little envious,” says Rimi from Chaos;Head after giving Kurisu a beating.
To coincide with the North American release of the game, Mages will be releasing a title update for the Japanese version.
Following the announcement about the Phantom Breaker’s release in North America and the special edition, 7Sixty sent us this video of 5pb’s fighting game in action.
The limited edition box will come with a mini strategy guide with tips for each of the game’s playable characters.
Phantom Breaker has guests from Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head Noah. Kurisu Makise and Rimi Sakihata are playable characters.
“I think Amazon may have jumped the gun a bit here,” a representative from Southpeak’s PR agency clarified for us.
