Pikmin 3 will feature a number control schemes, Nintendo announced via a Nintendo Direct presentation this morning.

Along with release dates for Luigi’s Manion: Dark Moon and Rayman Legends, Nintendo also mentioned three Wii U games have been pushed back from a planned March release.

Nintendo of America have put out a release schedule of games headed to the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in the first half of 2013.

Nintendo’s “launch window” for the Wii U in North America extends from November 18th, 2012 – March 31st, 2013.

Nintendo has three more titles in development for Wii U scheduled to come out after the system launches.

Nintendo of America have released a partial list of Wii U games that are expected from various publishers in the near future.

Nintendo revealed Pikmin 3 at their E3 media briefing this morning, and there were two hands-on demos on the show floor for attendees to try out.

At Nintendo’s E3 media briefing this morning, Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto announced Pikmin 3 for the Wii U.

Miyamoto believes players of previous Pikmin games will enjoy the new one as well.
